TYGER'S DIARY NOVEMBER 2, 1999
NOVEMBER 2, 1999
The autumn leaves have begun to fall now. As the colors of the leaves change, and leaves begin to slowly drop from the trees to the ground, all good cats begin to think fondly of warm evenings laying beside the hearth with a nice wood fire blazing away. The promise of Thanksgiving soon to come brings thoughts of family and happy times. Thanksgiving Day brings the delight of the parades that usher in Santa Claus with his Christmas cheer. The Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade is always something to look forward to and enjoy. A cat might even see a giant Garfield floating over New York City! On Thanksgiving Day cats can always look forward to the cooking of the great turkey feast, even if they don't get to ride one of the parade floats. There are always sure to be tasty morsels of turkey and gravy waiting for them from loving family members. Although the winds may begin to blow cold outside, the merry-making inside is sure to chase the chill away. It's almost winter. But with winter comes Christmas. And with Christmas, can the new year be very far away? The times to come are good times to look forward to for every good cat and kitten and every good dog and puppy, too. Dinner by the fireside, stories told, laughter and music, good things to drink, gifts, all are pleasant things indeed to remember from holidays past. Pleasant also to look forward to during the holidays to come. May you have a wonderful holiday season this year everyone everywhere. Although it may be a bit premature, I can't think of a better time than now to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
