THOUGH THE CRADLE BE IN GOD'S HOUSE
Though the cradle be in God's house,
Though the ones who rock it belong to God,
Though daily the child is fed holy food,
It does not mean the child will be whole and good.
Though the mother prays and plans,
Though the father guides and teaches,
Though family adds its full support,
It will not guarantee a child's good report.
The child must in his own heart hear a call,
The child must answer God on his own,
The child must commit his life's work to Him,
He must decide to bow and follow all alone.
Oh children of God, pray; listen for your call,
Bow to Him, serve Him, give Him your all.

Now to our quiet place...
More than ever, in this study, I have come to realize how important it is that we pray for our children. Pray that the Lord will speak to them, and that they will listen. We cannot call them, and we cannot answer for them. We must pray always that the Lord will keep them safe while they are finding their ways, while they are growing and while they are learning. God bless you and your families.
