New York, NY, June 10, 2006 -- New York film maker, author and abductee Jeremy Vaeni's movie, "No One's Watching - An Alien Abductee's Story," is a hot topic in this month's June issue of "UFO Magazine." It is featured in two monthly columns.
In Vaeni's own "Vaenian Adoptions" column (page 17, etc.) the producer, director and star of this true story tells of his experience, titled "Sleepwalk Weekend," with the movie's world debut at the Pioneer Two Boots Theatre here in the city's East Village and his perceptions of those two showings and some of his close encounters with the people he met there. He writes of Turkish-born UFO researcher, author and TV show host Farah Yurdozu and S.P.A.C.E.'s Harold Egeln, a reporter and TV show host.
In Yurdozu's "Alien in the Attic" column, she writes about the movie and other abduction-related items under the title, "Aliens and Humans; Humans and Seals."
Besides Vaeni's upbeat smiling color portrait, there are three photos of him taken with Yurdozu's camera on the night of his movie's premiere this March: One in Yurdozu's column and two of him in his column, one with Yurdozu and one with Egeln. The photo here of Vaeni and Egeln, in front of a framed poster of the movie "La Dolce Vita," is a CEN exclusive, thanks to Yurdozu.
There is a review of Vaeni's film and book,"I Know Why the Aliens Don't Land" (Kyegion House, 2004) in CEN's April-May issue, on the link on this page. We rate Vaeni's movie "four flying saucers" and highly recommend his book.
It is hoped that Vaeni's movie will be shown again at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater with a S.P.A.C.E. discussion there. Also, Egeln is planning an interview with Vaeni in the near-future.

June 14, 2006 -- UFO researcher and author Farah Yurdozu today taped a cable TV show to be shown on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network, the borough's public access network. The program, "Uniquely You Now" hosted by Mae Eisenberg, will be shown on MNN on Wednesday, July 5 at 5:00 p.m.
The Turkish-born Yurdozu is shown here with author and film maker Jeremy Vaeni at the world debut of his abductee film on March 23 in Manhattan at the Two Boots Pioneer Theatre.
Yurdozu, who wrote books on UFOs and paranormal phenomena in Turkey, along with her own TV show there, is the host of the "Dead Tenants" ghost-search program on The Learning Channel; a program producer for The Jerry Pippin Show on Internet radio; and the "Alien in the Attic" columnist for "UFO Magazine."
Her websites are www.farahyurdozu.com and www.farahstarot.com. S.P.A.C.E. plans to feature Yurdozu at a future S.P.A.C.E. Public Seminar.
Mae Eisenberg has been a MNN TV show host for nearly 20 years and has featured several programs on UFOs and paranormal events, with guests since 1994 from S.P.A.C.E. as well. Eisenber, a poet, learned about S.P.A.C.E. at a meeting of the Queens Psychic Club a dozen years ago. Her TV program debuted, in 2004, a documentary short film about S.P.A.C.E. made by an NYU film student.

June 8, 2006 -- There's a fascinating credible report about a coal train crew's apparent night-time close encounter with mysterious objects, one of which crashed into a locomotive (shown here in photo), in Kentucky on January 14, 2002 at 2:47 a.m.
According to the full report from the National UFO Reporting Center website, recently published in Filers Files (on the link below). the train, on its way from Russell to Shelblane, encountered hovering mysterious lights in a section of Kentucky called the "Wild Kingdom," noted for its unusual assortment of animals.
The train's electrical system went "haywire" (the train crew member who reported the incident this May said that his watch stopped at 2:47 a.m.) and a silver disc with multicolored lights, about 18-20 feet long and 10 feet high, collided with the CSX #3 locomotive, damaging the cab and its window before flying away.
The train proceeded to the Paintsville, Kentucky Railyard where it was examined by federal inspectors. The photo here is of the coal train involved in the crash. [All three photos courtesy of NUFORC and Filer's Files.] Trains images do emerge in Close Encounter Dreams, as do images of crashes, usually of UFOs and airplanes.
According to the NUFORC report filed by a train crew-member, this is a photo of the CSX #3 locomotive showing the damage from a colllision with a UFO on the night of Jan. 14, 2002, as told in the above report. Note the dented cab roof and the broken cab window. The photo was reported to have been taken in the CSX Huntington Shop in West Virginia.

"The Grays," who are here on Earth, landed at bookstores everywhere on August 22 and the Whiley Strieber's new novel is being widely read and studied. It was greeted with rave reviews, such as in "Publishers Weekly" and "People Magazine."
Although fictional, Strieber has said that "The Grays" novel is the best possible vehicle to communicate to the public a mysterious and powerfully shattering experience which cannot be defined in any conventional language, as the interaction transcends that language. The novel transmits the cumulative knowledge of his Visitors encounters. In essence, "The Grays" appears to be truth wrapped in fictional clothing, much like Strieber's 1989 "Majestic" novel about the Roswell Incident, and through the art of storytelling, which Strieber excells at, the book promised to be the author's most insightful, revealing and informative since the best-seller "Communion: A True Story" created a worldwide sensation almost 20 years ago in 1987.
It has not yet created a popular sensation like the richly evocative "Communion." It is not a best seller. The thriller's plot (the book is publisheed by Tom Doherty Associates LLC/Tor Books) reloves around a group of grays called "the Three Thieves" assigned to a small Kentucky town, a captive Gray called "B for Bob" who escapes, a government conspiracy plot led by Col. Michael Morax to hide the "sinister" truth of the Gray's presence, a government empathy - Lauren Glass - who communicated with the captive Gray, and a child - Conner Callaghan - breed by the Grays intervention through family generations to be a contact on the alien-human interface and to "save humanity."
"THE GRAYS," which throws together most elements of the UFO mythology, while filled with gifted insight, beautifully crafted passages and the lessons of a profound personal encounter experience, ends in an orgy of blood, gore and violence, the stuff of a horror writer like Strieber is, and, ultimately, disappoints. Whitley can - and should - do better... and that's the unwritten book that he is fully capable of doing and the public needs. The book is a Question with Fictional Answers wrapped in a Thriller. It is both right and wrong!
Strieber did a book-signing tour only the West Coast in connection with the novel's publication, and appeared at a Book Fair in Los Angles on September 17. He appeared in a 6:40 minutes segment at the end of "The Late, Late Show with Craig Fergson" on August 15.
New Yorker Jeremy Vaeni, a close encounter author, film-maker and witness who writes an always enjoyable monthly column in "UFO Magazine," interviewed Strieber about "The Grays" in a recent issue. The interview, which is excellent, appears now on his website at www.valiens.com and in the August 2006 issue of "UFO Magazine."
[NOTE for NEW YORKERS: When Strieber was at the Barnes & Noble in Chelsea, Manhattan, in May in support of a friend's newly published photographic book, he autographed copies of the paperback edition of "Communion." There are a few autographed copies with his signature on the shelves there. See our April-May CEN issue for a report from Anne Strieber's Diary on the Strieber's NYC visit.]
An in-depth book review and analysis of "The Grays" by S.P.A.C.E. Founder Harold Egeln will soon appear here soon, titled: "The Grays Matter."
UNDER THE RADAR -- "EVENT: A THRILLER"
By coincidence, a new science fiction hardcover novel about Roswell and the activities of the space aliens and the government's "Event Group," and the struggle between good and evil surrounding the grays presence on Earth, has been published concurrently with "The Grays" release!
It is titled "EVENT: A Thriller" by New York sci-fi suspense writer David Lynn Golemon, published this August by St. Martin's Press. A sequel is already being written. Information about "Event" is on the links list below.
