WESTLAND ATHLETIC BOOSTERS

PURPOSE :
To promote athletics in an atmosphere that is consistent with the educational philosophy of the school community; to provide an opportunity for citizens to support student involvement in athletics and; to provide an opportunity for communication between coaches, parents, athletes, and the community.

We encourage your involvement!



SUPPORT :
The Athletic Boosters provide financial support for the purchase of equipment and supplies not covered by the high school athletic department. Some examples include:

We help provide half the cost of many items such as: Jerseys, Warm-Ups, Baseball Caps.

We pay $7.00 per athlete for each Sports Banquet.

We pay for half the printing costs of the Sports Programs.

We provide the Concession Stands with Volunteers.

We Clean the Field, Paint, and Make Repairs to Various Areas to keep everything running smoothly for all our Student Athletes.

We Seek Donations from Area Businesses.

We help pay for Trophies.

We Provide Four $500.00 Scholarships.



MEETINGS :
Attend the monthly meeting held at Westland High School the Third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm.



MEMBERSHIPS :
Athletic Boosters Memberships are now REDUCED for the 2008/09 Year to $10.00 (Individual) or $15.00 (Couple), and are available at the monthly meeting, athletic events, fund raisers and at the link below:
