8 EAGLE SCOUTS FOR TROOP 375 in 2008! More than a troop record, it reflects great individual accomplishments from EACH of these fine scouts to make "8 in '08" a reality. A fine congratulations to: Mark Cruz, Dale Price, Kevin Kelly, Trey Mays, Vincent Ho, Mike Bliley, Jamie Dailey and Thomas Moss!!

ABOUT OUR TROOP:

Troop 375, part of Tidewater Council, is a 52 year-old boy-run troop that maintains an active year-round schedule that is boy-planned. Much of our adult leadership are made up of Eagle Scouts and Troop 375 alumni. 2 leaders have over 25 years with the troop. E-mail the Scoutmaster, A.J. Vasta at : ajvasta@hotmail.com , or just come on by to visit one of our meetings. We make our home at Old Donation Episcopal Church, on Witchduck Rd. (next to Bayside Hospital) We meet on Thursdays at 6:30PM. Our members come primarily from the Bayside, Pembroke, and Kempsville sections of Virginia Beach, but anyone is invited to join, as we have members that travel from Norfolk as well. Our youth membership is fairly large, and we specialize in recruiting those boys who have never been in Cub Scouts or Webelos. A large and energetic Scoutmaster Corps, as well as an active committee help support our growth. Our boy staff is also committed to the troop, and now contains an increased 3 Assitant Senior Patrol Leader crew as well as the Senior Patrol Leader, Scribe and Quartermaster. We will continue, as long as space permits, to take Webelos from packs we have working relationships with, as well as former scouts transferring into the area, or other boys aged 11-14 that would like to join.
