DEAREST GURU OF THE UNIVERSE
Dearest guru of the universe,
Ac Bhaktivedanta Swami Shrila Prabhupada,
kindly look in the direction,
of your very fallen dog.
I am entangled in maya,
lost to material desire,
my heart is always on fire,
in forgetrfullness of thy ashraya.
Dearest guru of the three worlds,
the lower and middle and higher,
please pull the strings of thy puppet,
and make him dance to Krishna's desire.
Dearest guru of the universe,
please hear thy Anubhavananda,.
please place me under the lotus feet,
of Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda
Dearest friend to all the fallen souls,
just drowning and surfacing on this ocean of distress,
please pray always for this hopeless fiend,
simply entrapped in repeated birth and death.
Dearest guru, above all other gurus,
I must hear you clearly, or there is no hope,
my heart is blacker than the blackest coals,
please give thy mercy, to this most foolish of souls.
I don't know anymore,
since you left my view,
what is even best anymore,
please save me, O Jagat Guru!!!!
O Patita Pavana's instrument,
O Dina Bandhu's dancer,
to Lord Krishna's Mahamantra,
make me fully enchanted.
