There was a young child at the Ravoux Inn that Vincent would entertain each evening after dinner by drawing a picture of the Sandman with his horse and carriage.(The Sandman would sprinkle sand in children's eyes to make them sleepy.) He used a chalkboard and never drew the same picture twice. |
