Both of the pipes in the first two photos are by the Czechoslovakian pipemaker, Karel Krska. A friend of mine offered to sell the red one so I bought it. I think all the wonderful panels and the lovely reddish color were what attracted me to the pipe. The third photo shows the unique partial plateau top. The fourth photo shows the panels and angles on the bottom of the pipe. I love large pipes and this is very large (7 1/8" long, 3 1/2" high) and, as you can see, has unusually thick walls. The front and back walls are each 1" thick while each of the side walls are 5/8" thick. It is an excellent smoker but unfortunately I have only managed to get a pipe cleaner all the way into the pipe once. Due to the size of the pipe, that regular pipe cleaner all but disappeared into the pipe. |
