Digitally remasterd from original tapes that Randy Bachman obtained several years ago by accident.
Note:
The 1978-79 albums: Guess Who's Back and both Canadian and US versions of All This For A Song are included in this discography. Kale obtained the legal usage of the group's name in 1978. The group lineup at that time and on those two albums include: Jim Kale, Don McDougall, Vance Masters, David Inglis and Kurt WInter, with Winter making "guest performances" on the latter without being creditted as a full time member. This version of the band had 3 former members of The Guess Who making a majority and were all Winnipeggers (Vance Masters notably played with Winter and Bill Wallace in the band "Brother", and whose material the Guess Who had absorbed into their own catalog at various times after Randy Bachman had left in 1970.) Kale went on to record with other variations of the group in the 90's and has reconstituted a new group in 2004 with Garry Peterson and are now booking shows. Kale also participated in the Running Back Thru Canada Tour launch show at the Community Centre in Winnipeg for the millenial re-union.
