He adheres to a strict Code of Ethics & specializes in many areas of Massage Therapy, from basic Swedish-Style for Stress & Tension relief, to Deep Tissue, for injuries and "pulled" muscles. Our goal is to design a Session specifically for you and your needs. What to expect in a Massage Session: Going to a Massage for the first time can sometimes be intimidating. For that reason we have tried to answer the most commonly asked questions. Where will my Massage be ? Your Massage session will be in a comfortable quiet room. The Therapist may begin with a short Meditation ( mental suggestions to relax ) while soft relaxing music is playing in the background. Next he may administer some gentle stretches called Dry Moves which helps prepare the body for massage. Then he will begin the actual Massage with a light hydrating oil or cream, to allow the muscles to be worked without excessive friction to the skin. Will I be covered during the Session? You will be properly draped at all times to provide you with warmth and comfort. Only the areas being worked will be exposed. Must I completely undress? Most massage techniques are performed traditionally unclothed: however you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. Will the Therapist be present while I undress? The Therapist will leave the room while you undress and get on the Massage Table and cover yourself with a clean sheet. What parts of my body will be massaged? You and your Therapist will discuss the desired outcome of your session. This will determine which parts of your body need massage. A typical Full Body Massage will include work on your back, legs, arms, feet, hands, neck and shoulders. You will not be touched on or near your genitals ( male and female ) or breasts (females). How long will the session last? The average Full Body Session will last for 1 hour, however, many people prefer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or more for optimal relaxation and enjoyment.
