John Chaves, A Co., 1st Platoon, in FULL combat gear at FSB Pershing. John was wounded January 21st, 1970 and died of his wounds back in The States in April. "Johnnys" biggest fight came after Viet Nam. [photo © 2001 by the Chaves family.
