GOD

Q - So, you have a personal god?

A - Nope, no personal god; that is integral in what PANentheism is all about.

Q - Well, what sort of God do you believe in?

If it's not a personal God, and it's not an impersonal God (deism)---what's left?

In as few words as possible, please.

A - "God" is not what's "left" but what "will be" when "evolution" is complete - necessarily in metaphor as the concept includes 'reality' outside of "space/time" constrictions.

Simplistically "pantheism" means the sum total of everything = god, i.e., a "piece" of god is in every "thing."

"PantENtheism" means the sum total of both the "spark" of life within every object (which does not have substance in space/time) and the evolving things themselves (which do have substance in space/time).

Sort of the curved universe balloon of space/time Einstein visualized - viewed from "outside" - another metaphoric conceptualization of "the Alpha and the Omega."

Unprovable, of course, as are all concepts of a superhuman ("god"), but it provides an intellectual base to "explain" creation/first cause a la a Moebius Strip.

Q - Ahhh--you're playing around with me!

I'll try again.

If your God is neither personal nor impersonal--what's left...i.e. what sort of God is neither?

This is an "exhaust the universe" question.

It sounds very much from your description that your God is impersonal, though.

Like the Deist god.

A - I don't think that there can be understanding on your part on this issue because your "reality" (as I understand you) is limited to space/time "fixities" and my "reality" includes non-physical beings (at different levels of consciousness - what others call "spirits," souls," "angels," "devils," etcetera).

My "god" does not exist in space/time, and as such only metaphorically can be described as becoming actualized in the "future."

Just as a gestalt reality is greater than the sum of all its parts, so 'will be' "god" - or maybe "god" already 'is' from some outside-of-space/time viewpoint! -- in any instance "impersonal" in the sense of god/man communication or relationship; impossible to communicate or relate to a potential "being" which is only "becoming" as perceived from my present consciousness in space/time.

My reference to the "toy" Moebius Strip was not playing either - it is an object in space/time, but it also is a three dimensional object with only one side and no beginning nor end - and yet one can see a front and a back?!

The concepts attempted to be reflected/communicated by the finite words "infinite" "world without end" "always was, always will be" "Alpha and Omega" are descriptions of the non-physical realities which exist outside (extra/supra) of space/time.

Q - You're not answering the question.

Is your God personal or impersonal?

If neither personal or impersonal, what sort of God can be neither?

Or are you saying that because God--like angels and devils--is imaginary,

He can be anything you imagine Him to be, even if you can't communicate to others what that is?

A - I can't answer any plainer!

And the reason is because "god" has not been actualized yet - remember "panentheism" - and it is "impossible to communicate or relate to a potential "being" which is only "becoming" as perceived from my present consciousness in space/time."
