____________

Car Builders are a Strange Breed ...
Because when it comes to living
Most folks act as if they are going to live forever
and feel short changed when they don't

But most Car Builders know the truth
When it comes to living
We're all just passing through

So you might as well enjoy the Ride
So what others measure in dollars and cents
Most Car Builders measure in Polish and Chrome
Cast Iron, Bright Work and Stainless Steel
Black Rubber, White Walls and Engine Power
and it's what your gauges measure, that counts
Not other People's expectations

It's Reving the Engine
Snapping the next Gear
and Reving toward the Red Line
While you streak down the chock line
Leaving the Competition
to stay behind

'Cause you know the truth --
We're all just passing through --

and Heaven is just one more gear UP!
