Cause he's my friend He laughs with me, he cries with me. He cares about me, He shares with me. Cause he's my friend. He rides in front of me. He rides behind me. He rides on with me. He rides in with me. Cause he's my friend. He guides me. He corrects me. He teaches me, and he encourages me Cause he's my friend. He watches out for me. He protects me. He lets me rest when I'm weary Cause he' my friend. He is patient with me. He does not rush me. He does not push or shove me. Cause he's my friend. He sees me when I'm down, and he builds me back up. He does not judge or criticize me. Cause he's my friend. He knows my thoughs. He feels my pain. He's there for me. He knows my shame Cause he's my friend. He's not jealous of me, he does not deceive me. He does not laugh at, or mislead me. Cause he's my friend. Who is he you ask? What!!! HAVEN'T YOU BEEN LISTENING? He's my friend.
