Well, apparently God has an even more powerful event in store for Exuma...

God has impressed this familiar verse from 2 Chronicles 7:14 upon us to give to the people of Exuma:

"IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME,
SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES,
AND PRAY,
AND SEEK MY FACE,
AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS;
THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND."

My father, W. Clyde Martin is under a great 'burden' from The Lord to return to these wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ with a new message...a call to genuine revival.

Daddy and I were on Exuma, June 24-29th...and once there, God clearly confirmed we were in His will and direction in being there.

  • In a meeting of pastors from different denominations, the response to the plea for revival was recieved enthusiastically.
  • Key prayer warriors were ready and eager to join in seeking God for spiritual awakening for their island.
  • Three people gave their lives to Christ while we were there...a hitchiker, a bartendress, and a pastor's granddaughter.
  • In the Sunday morning service at the Mt. Sinai, The Lord's Presence was so loving and overwhelming in a very beautiful and unusual manner...God demonstrated His Power and approval that we were seeking Him. Public professions of salvation and rededication were made in this service.
  • In other impromptu prayer meetings during those days, The Holy Spirit confirmed and inspired us to continue in focused, earnest petitioning of God for the spiritual awakening of every one on Exuma.
  • Our individual times alone with God were marked by awe and awareness of His desire to blow over the island with His Holy Spirit's renewal.
