1987 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon TI auto

1990 Plymouth Voyager LX 2.5 TI 5-speed

When I picked this van up, it had 70k miles, and the two rear bench seats were literally never used. The original owners were elderly and spent the winters in Arizona, and the previous owner (Jason from WI) did not have any children!

It's loaded with every option...A/C, cruise, tilt, gauge package, overhead console w/ compass and temp. gauge, power locks, windows, mirrors, vent windows and seats. Jason added Autometer boost and A/F gauges, and a nice Jenson CD player. Believe it or not, the headliner is perfect.

The engine and bay are stock, with the exception of the Powerstroke intercooler and the Talon BOV.

It has been repainted sometime in it's lifetime, no dings, fade, or paint peel. Tint is professional and nice...2.5" mandrell bent exhaust exiting out the back gives a hint that something's up!

1992 Daytona IROC Shelby 2.5 TI 5-speed

This IROC has the ultra rare, factory installed "SHELBY" decals on the hood and rear bumper. It was built in December, 1991. Options include ABS, AC, PW, PL, CC, Infinity cassette w/factory CD, and leather seats. Strangely (since it was delivered new to Albuquerque, New Mexico), it's also optioned with a rear wiper and defrost!

This is a picture I took one night out with my wife April. Her favorite color is light blue, just like the color of the decals. Needless to say, I searched for quite some time to find this specific colored IROC (It's one of 36 in blue with the TI engine). Luckily, it has spent it's entire life in rust-free New Mexico...the engine bay and underbody look like new! Although the odometer reads 134k, it would pass for 34k.

Fellow 1992 IROC Shelby owner Mark Affeldt states:
"There is no proof that the Daytona IROC Shelby exists. The option is not shown in any literature. So-called experts say the Shelby option disappeared half way through the 1991 model year, when the IROC option became available. This is countered by the existence of 1991 Daytona Shelby IROC's. They say that the dealers put the "SHELBY" decals on them so they would sell faster. If this were true, why did the decals have a valid part number for 1992? Who knows. The 1992 IROC's (only 230 produced with the 2.5 turbo engine) were supposed to get the small "IROC" decals on the hood and rear bumper. So far, I have seen or heard of approx. ten of them having the "SHELBY" decals. All have been turbo's and several have been found to be Chrysler executive cars. It may have been an option that only they knew about. We will never know for sure. One thing I do know is that they are the rarest of the rare for Daytona production."

1990 Dodge Spirit LE

Fellow SDAC Chicago member Dave Tekampe sold me this great "sleeper". It's a 2.5 TI automatic with a mere 89k miles. I intend to make this my daily driver, so I'm gonna swap on a Garret turbo and intercooler.

"Grandma, can I borrow the car?" This Spirit screams "Little old lady"...column shift, power bench seat, PW, PL, cruise, tilt.

This emblem might blow the "sleeper" image, but I think it's just too neat to remove...heh...turbo emblems on a 4 door sedan!

1992 Daytona IROC Shelby 2.5 TI auto

Here is my daily driver. This car was built in October 1991. It also came from the factory with "SHELBY" decals. Options include ABS, PS, PW, PL, CC, rear defrost, Infinity cassette, and overhead console.

This car shows evidence to have been driven year-round. Flaking white paint, surface rust here and there, you get the picture. The original engine had a horrible wrist pin noise, so I swapped in a used motor. My good friend Paul Smith rebuilt the tranny. Upgrades include an Enforcer I turbo, +20 injectors, a set of 17" wheels, and a digital information center from a LeBaron. The odometer currently shows approximately 150k miles, 10k of them mine.

1990 Dodge Shadow ES 2.2 TII auto

I bought this Shadow (in pieces) from Angelo Taylor in Indiana. He had originally hired George Kish to install the drivetrain from a wrecked 87 CSX. Mods include: a Paul Smith transmission rebuild, ported 2 piece intake and exhaust manifolds, J&E forged pistons, FM Enforcer I cylinder head, a Rick Diogo Super 70 turbocharger, front mounted Cummins intercooler from a Dodge Ram, 3" exhaust w/Dynomax exiting in front of driver's rear wheel, S60 fuel pump/injectors, 89 electronics, and a Rob Maxon custom cal Comp.

This is a pic of my best pass ever...12.77 at 102.7 mph against a new Ford Lighting. I pulled a 1.74 sixty foot...he saw my tail-lights the whole race!

Here's a pic of the engine bay when I first hauled it home. The top end of the motor and all the spare parts were in the trunk. Now that it's back together, It runs and drives awesome!

Hole-shotting a late model Mustang GT!

Here you can see the custom gauge panel. It hosts a Westach white faced EGT gauge, and a bunch of Phantom Autometer gauges (Tach, boost, water temp, oil, and volt).

1987 Dodge Shelby Charger

This Garnet Red/Silver car is totally stripped for racing...only thing in the drivers compartment is the dash, steering column, and drivers seat.

Original A/C delete Charger has 83k miles. Cylinder head, turbo (Garrett w/2.5" exhaust flange), and intake are from an 89 TII Daytona

1990 Plymouth Voyager TI auto

Here's a van that I ended up selling to my brother. When I first bought it, I immediately thought I was in trouble! My Mother had borrowed it, and while she was driving, the headgasket blew. From the symptoms she gave me, I thought she had horribly overheated it. Fortunately, when I tore it down, no cracks or warpage to the head. A new MP headgasket, and it was ready to haul some kids!

With the exception of a grainger dialed in at 12lbs, it is bone stock. That perky mitsu makes it seem real quick.
