The name of my page is something of an inside joke of several friends of mine (a clean one if you are interested),...but this in no way discounts the career of an acting great--and a pretty decent guy, too. :)
While this page may not be the most picture-intensive place going (especially considering web page building limits I have to tool around with), I hope this site can be of service to other fans everywhere.
I've been in the process of adding a section of links related to St. Louis, where Scott is from, and came across this from the St. Louis Walk Of Fame: Nominees for the St. Louis Walk of Fame must fulfill two main criteria: 1) They must have been born in St. Louis or spent their formative or creative years here. 2) Their accomplishments must have had a national impact on our cultural heritage. NOMINATION PROCESS There are approximately 250 great St. Louisans from the past and present on the list of nominees. They represent national luminaries from fields such as art, music, architecture, literature, journalism, civil rights, education, science, sports, acting, entertainment and broadcasting.
Anyone may participate in the nomination process. Simply send a letter to the St. Louis Walk of Fame office with the name, date and place of birth, and a short history of the person you wish to nominate. Include the person's St. Louis connection and a description of his or her national impact. Address your envelope as follows:
Nominations Committee St. Louis Walk of Fame 6504 Delmar St. Louis, MO 63130
PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD UPDATE: January 13 has come and gone, but no win for Scott. But there are those who know who was more deserving... :)
There seems to be some kind of buzz about changing the Enterprise opening theme from the current one, "Faith Of The Heart", sung by Russell Watson. I myself am on the side of keeping the tune, because the lyrics very snugly fit the premise of the show, to finally "boldly go where no man (or dog) has gone before",...while at the same time admitting to a bias because of songwriter Diane Warren's partnership with Michael Bolton. If you think the current theme should stay, sign this petition. Whatever you believe, let Paramount know that your opinion counts! In a related matter, there is petition to put a buzz in Universal Studios ears to revive "Quantum Leap" in feature film form--if for no other reason than closure of the series. If you think it is worth it to see a "Quantum Leap" movie, sign here.
