Kris' First Hair Cut

Time For A Trim

Mommy decided it was time for me to get my hair cut. She was tired of it always getting in my eyes. Even though she thought it was cute how my hair sometimes curled up in the back like some comics character named Trixie, she didn't like it when people called me a cute little girl.

Treehouse Salon

This place was named Treehouse Salon and it specialized in hair cuts for children. My hairdresser was named Alicia. Even though my parents thought she was really ditzy, she did a fantastic job of cutting my hair. David lucked out and got to ride in this little red car during my ordeal.

Drive-Thru Hair Cut

Alicia cut my hair while I sat in the blue car. I wanted the pony chair, but Mommy and Daddy were afraid I might fall off. At first I didn't mind this hair trimming event, but I eventually became very upset about it.

Not a Happy Customer

When Alicia started manhandling me in an attempt to use the shaver, I started crying. Mommy finally had to tell her to stop. I thought she was going to cut my ear off. As you can see, my brother was nonplussed about the whole affair.

Sure Fire Trick

Well, that's one way to shut a crying baby up ~ stick a lollipop in his mouth. This was my first time to have a lollipop and I sure did enjoy every sticky minute of it!

Sharing the Good Times

I hope David appreciates what all I had to go through just so he and I could have a lollipop! (My word now for candy is "pop pop".)

Look Ma, No Hands

If I were Daddy, David would be telling me to put my hands back on the steering wheel. My brother is quite the little back seat driver to some people's dismay.

Caught on Camera

Alicia took this polaroid photo of me to show off my new hair cut. It isn't that great a picture, but it shows my brother being snoopy behind the cash register!

First Hair Cut Certificate

I received this piece of paper in honor of my first hair cut. A little lock of my baby hair is attached to it. However if the truth be told, this is really my second hair cut. Mommy gave me a little trim at home several months ago. But this was my first official commercially done hair cut. Both times it saddened my mommy to see my little tresses being shorn.

The Before and After Shots

What a difference a good hair cut can make! I should have done this sooner. Now I definitely look like a boy!
