Hours of Operation-How to Get Here The Butterfly Zoo is officially open for the Summer season as of Saturday, May 25, 2008. We close for the season after Labour Day , Tuesday, Sept 2, 2008. The Butterfly Zoo is located at 409 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton Rhode Island. We are closed cloudy or rainy days ( the butterflys won't fly)--Please be realistic--if it is not sunny, we will NOT be open for tours ! The Butterfly Zoo is opened Monday thru Saturday 11 am to 4 pm, Sundays 12 noon to 4 pm. Did we mention that we are closed cold, cloudy-rainy days? To get here, take Route 24 North from Portsmouth or Rt 24 South from Fall River. Take the Fish Road Exit . From 24 South take a left at the bottom of the exit, From 24 North take a right onto Fish Road. The Police Station should be on your LEFT ! Follow Fish Road 2 miles to the end, Take a right onto Bulgarmarsh Road , we are located approx. 1500 ft up on the left.
