Bio information
Mark was born Mark Shapiro on July 10, 1949 in Bayonne, New Jersey and graduated from high school there. He got his start in show business by joining a New York production of the play Godspell portraying Jesus. He played a starring role in the TV series 'SWAT' in 1975 and in 1976 joined the cast of the detective series 'Barnaby Jones' playing the part of Barnaby's nephew who was studying to become an attorney. He also assisted in the investigation of Barnaby's cases. Mark played this role until the series' end in 1980.
