This page is dedicated to "Nippy Girl", my Shepard/Timber Wolf who was my constant companion for 13 years. That November 4, 2000 date will not be forgotten soon.
The writing below is from the pages of my friend and Sister in Wolf Spirit. While you're here, click on the Award by Pathways to visit her great site. You'll be glad you did.

MY WOLF SPIRIT
I open my pages with the animal that resides in my spirit and is my strongest totem.
When some people have a connection with the spirit of certain animals, this is their totem.
You can tell alot about that person by the totem they are drawn to, dream about, and have encounters with.
The wolf is probably the most misunderstood of the animal spirits.
They are feared and hated because of tales of evil and terror, that have surrounded them for centuries.
Many breeds have been hunted to extinction.
They are hunted and trapped beyond comprehension.
And yet there has never been a documented case of a healthy wolf attacking a human being.
The wolf song that may sound erie and terrify some; sounds hauntingly beautiful to me.
A celebration to the spirit, a song of joyful praise, of love and a beautiful song of just being one with nature.
The Wolf is friendly, social, highly intelligent and loyal.
They are family oriented and the pack has rules, rituals, and pack law is respected. Unlike man who thinks laws were made to be broken.
If you are wolf spirits, you are loyal, with principles and ideals.
The protection of loved ones especially children is done with strength and conviction. If you do fight it is out of necessity, because you will go out of your way to avoid a fight.
Wolves use body language to communicate messages to each other. It is the way with wolf spirit in you.
You will have expressive eyes, your posture and hands are used to express yourself.
Family is your strength and you know elders and children can teach and share with you.
You take responsibility with children very seriously.
Seeking knowledge, new ideas, and adventure is a part of your life. You like to teach and share your knowledge.
As with wolf you have a strong sense of smell and hearing.
Unpleasant odors can actually make you physically ill. Sick to your stomach. Loud piercing noises will put you on edge.
You love hearing nature's voice speak softly to you. Through rain, birds singing and the flow of a creek running.
The smell of flowers sends joy through your heart.
You become too involved in your work. You have the power of the wolf to recognize your control of reality.
Your need for solitude at times is very real and replenishes you. It gives you strength for harmony and peace in life.

This writing is a true reflection of me and describes my nature so well, that I couldn't resist adding it to my pages.
