Commanly Asked Shamballa Questions 1. What IS Shamballa? Shamballa is an energy that was channeled through a man named John Armitage whose spiritual name is Hari Daas, in 1996. This energy is an "extension" of Reiki, and is used for hands on healing, and long distance healing, along with many other various things. It also raises one's energy vibration, and helps a person to progress spiritually. Shamballa is known as the next level beyond Reiki, and is much more powerful. It is said, that a Level l Shamballa attunement, is just as powerful energy-wise, as a Reiki Master Attunement. Shamballa is also much easier to do, and the attunements are all done out loud, unlike Reiki. Shamballa is also much more affordable to most people than Reiki. The word "Better" is a relative term. I have found that people are drawn to what just they need, and both energies are GOOD. How do I get a Shamballa attunement?   You can get an attunement (2) ways: You can either get a "hands on" attunement, in person, or you can get a "long distance" attunement over the phone, or "live" and out loud, on the computer, with modalies like yahoo or interactive set-ups like the "Spiritual Community" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5. Do long distance attunements work just as well as hands on ones? The answer is YES, YES, YES! :) I have found over the years, that long distance attunements are just as effective, and just as good as hands on ones.... I actually do more long distance ones, then hands on, and I have NEVER, had anyone say to me, that it didnt work. And if you get one, you will KNOW, it works, it is just that powerful :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 7. What are the different attunements, and what are they each for? There are (4) attunements in all: The 1st one, enables you to do hands on healing to other people, animals, and to yourself. The 2nd attunement, allows you to send energy long distance, to people, places, and events. The 3rd attunement allows you to attune others to Level l ONLY, and The Fourth attunement, allows you to attune to ALL levels, and to teach shamballa classes :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8. Do I HAVE to do all (4) attunements? NO. You do not. You can do just one attunement, or you can decide to do all (4) attunements, to the Master Level. It is all up to the individual student, how many attunements they get. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 9. If I DO go to the Master Level, do I HAVE to teach and attune? NO. This is something that is commanly misunderstood, and sometimes inhibits a student from going to the Master Level. Sometimes people just get the attunements so they can heal others and themselves, to raise their vibrational energy, and to spirually progress. Not everyone is meant to be a teacher, and that is OK. I have found that some students, never intend to attune and teach, and then a year later feel "pulled" into it, and begin to do it.:) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 10. How much does each attunement cost? Each attunement, is $50, which you can pay with either a check, or through paypal. Please keep in mind, these are MY costs, which were the ones my own shamballa teacher charged. I feel this is fair for my time, and information, and easily affordable for most people. Negotions can also be made, for those who are unable to afford this amount, and feel they should have these energies. Other shamballa teachers may charge a higher amount. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 11. How far apart, does each attunement have to be? Attunements are usually done a week apart, to allow time for "releasing", but you can also spread them out as far apart as you wish....There are cases where attunements can be done closer together also....I usually always leave it up to my students, as they know what they can handle, better than me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 12. What does "releasing" mean? Releasing is something that occurs with both Reiki and Shamballa energies. When the energy is downloaded into you, it literally "pushes" out, all the negative "stuff" that you need to release, to "make room", for this higher energy. Releasing can manifest as various physical ailments, such as a cold, a rash, feeling tired,or "cranky", or you may not feel any effects at all, and may "release" while you sleep. No matter what the outcome, releasing brings us to a higher spiritual vibration, and allows us to let go of that which we no longer need. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 13. Is it Shambhala or Shamballa?  I have seen it spelled both ways....... That is a very good question. The CORRECT spelling is "Shamballa" The reason you may have seen it spelled the other way, as "shambhala" is because a good friend of mine, who is from Holland, who I attuned a couple of years ago, who is very active in teaching shamballa, has decided to spell it, "Shambhala" after a spiritual chat group we had. This sometimes confuses people. "Shambhala" is actually, I learned, from someone studying it a Tibetian Healing modality that Tibetian monks are trained to do, and it takes (10) years of intensive teachings to become a Master in that. "Shamballa" is the correct spelling, that was originally channeled from Hari Daas, (now known as Hari Baba), in 1996, through St Germaine who originally brought in the shamballa energies.... and is the spelling recognized, on the main Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing Body.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 14. What is Shamballa 1024? Is it the same as Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing? NO. It is NOT. They are (2) different things. Shamballa 1024, was channeled by a very kind hearted woman named June, through her spirit guide Joelle. This particular type of shamballa claims that Reiki and Shamballa Multi-Dimensional healing, will become obsolete by this year, 2005. Well I can attest, that this did not happen, and it is untrue. Nor do I beleive this will happen. Once again, this is yet another modality that is right for some people, and not others. I beleive we are drawn to what we need, and what serves us, and no particualar modality is "better" than another. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 15. Is there anything beyond Shamballa? Yes. There is Shamballa 13D. This, at this time, can only be done hands on, in person, and can taught ONLY by a teacher who has taken the13D Teacher intensive course, which is (9) full days, and $1700 per course, taught by Hari Baba. To become attuned to the 13D energies, it is usually a (4) full day workshop, that generally costs around $444.00. You do not have to be attuned to Shamballa 1-4 to get attuned to 13D.
