The Pack's Rules

Group Rules

1. The Alpha's lead the pack, and must be respected and obeyed in all circumstances by all pack members. In the Alpha's absence, (Nightwolf), Beta, and group leader will assume leadership, and must be obeyed as an Alpha.

2. No disruption of role play, will be tolerated. All pack members are encouraged to add to the role playing as long as it compliments the current "trend" of the story on the "side". Any wolf may begin another scene if no other RP is in progress, or if, it "adds" to or compliments, the current scene.
Wolves may also begin their own personal scenes, as long as it doesnt interupt other role plays.
One is not allowed to completely go in a different direction from the current scenerio, and disrupt the current trend.

3. All wolves MUST read through ALL emails BEFORE replying to the list. If a wolf has missed several emails, they cannot reply to "back" emails as it disrupts the flow of play. They must reply in context to the current situation ONLY.

4. All Pack members are expected to participate in the pack. Lurkers are not tolerated on the list. There will be times when pack members will become busy, and have things come up in R/L and may be quiet for awhile, and this is fine, if you know this is going to happen, you are encouraged to write this into the story line....and come up with a reason why you will be away.
(ie: the wolf is off to visit family in their human form) Pack members who are not online in any way for over 2mos without a good reason, will be given a warning, and if it continues, will be kicked off the list. You may also want to let the group know,
in OFF PLAY that you will be away, and when.

5. The Realm is a NO KILL ZONE.
First and foremost, no character can be
"killed" in the zone. Anyone attempting such an act will be banned immediately from the group. (No discussion on this point.) Hunting is allowed, however, it will only be iniciated by an Alpha or a Beta ONLY, and only "approved" animals such as deer, elk, bison will be killed, for survival only. No other animals in the Realm may be killed. Enemies of the pack, such as
Dark Elves may be killed freely...if you are not sure, what an approved enemy is, Dont kill it!
You may also ask any of the group leaders, if you are unsure.

6. The pack is allowed to express themselves freely, AS WOLVES WOULD, ONLY.
Negative emotions, may be expressed, but should be expressed appropriately, without malicious intent to intentionally hurt another pack member.

7. All pack members must be Respected.
Discrimination because of sex, religion, or race, will not be tolerated here.

8. Full Sexual Scening is not allowed in the yahoo group. Affection may be shown
up to that point, and some sexual behavior, but "Full On" mating must be taken offline.

9. All pack members should read the
"Description of the Realm", and
"The Truth About Wolves," (to come)
and the "Meet The Pack Page",
(all our members and their descriptions) BEFORE
joining the group.

It is also helpful, if you go to the our home page and read some of the archives, to learn
what the current storyline is, before jumping into play. :)

10. Any wolf mates, MUST be a character
who is IN the group, and a real person.
This information will be
available on our web page.

@This is important for the participation in the group@

-If you would like to write comments, questions or just "chat" to the group, this
is fine, but please put OFF PLAY or OP
in the title, so people know it is outside of role playing.

@Please note@

The breaking of these rules will not be tolerated. The rules are put into place, for the ultimate safety of the pack, and the list. Failure to follow these RULES (not guidlines), will result in the following:

3rd offense- You will receive an onlist warning in front of the pack. 4th offense- You will be booted off of the list, and run off by the pack, and banned from the group.
