Oval-CircleTute.html

Just a quick project using Ellipse and Circle and compositing a "gif" or a "jpg" in center of circle. Above finished was 407x317 but made it smaller to show a finished one I did awhile back.

If you start on a white background of 400x300 I've figured out the numbers to use and the steps to take.

Step 1. Using the 400x300 blank go to Draw and use Ellipse: 200,150 160,115 0,360 no Fill but Stroke color of your choice and Stroke of 2

Step 2. Draw again and Circle: 200,150 85,140 same stroke and color.

Step 3. Go to Decorate to make a frame and use 15x15 Border and None for color.

Step 4. Now matte out the 2 sides in the ellipse and fill with a background using Dstover and click on Misc. Now it will fill the oval parts and the frame you made.

Step 5. Matte out center and put in a jpg using "just" distover (no misc).

If you want to use my background of seashells, here's the url: http://www.wtv-zone.com/MsLee/Bgs/seashells.jpg

If using the above eagle: go to Composite and use Center +65+35 and Dstover.

Finished mine by making it a gif after I matted out the background and going to Dave's shadow tool using white and it will give it that shadow look or just make a rectangle inside the frame using Rectangle: 15,15 415,315 and stroke only of black and stroke of 2.
