DOMUS DEI (House of God) AND THE REAL PRESENCE

CARDINAL RATZINGER: (Vatican II documents) "state quite clearly that the Blessed Sacrament be reserved on the high altar". However "New Age Guru", Dr. Vosko is placing Sacred Heart Sanctuary in Peril.

"There exists no mandate, as a command or order to move the tabernacle from the high altar to another position in the church. Inter Oecumenici (1964) which implements Sacrosanctum Consilium, states quite clearly that the Blesssed Sacrament be reserved on the high altar...also by Eucharisticum Mysterium (1967), para 54...a great number of churches have been rearranged since the Second Vatican Council: such changes..CANNOT however be said to have been required by the legislation of the Church"-JOSEPH CARDINAL RATZINGER. Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in the publication "Cardinal Ratzinger on the question of Sanctuary Renovations, AD2000", October 1998 by Bernard Caesar. [capitalized words are for emphasis. We have two religions under one tent. As Catholicism is watered down, at a great financial burden for our grandchildren, a new age congregationalism threatens.]

This is a orthodox Catholics' dramatic revelation behind the loss of "biblical inerrancy" in Catholic seminarys and universities, and ultimately Catholic parish schools. This is a intrigueing history of how the experts on the bible were dumbed down before they watered down..(the Critical Method)...Although Genesis 3:4-7 is the root of this deconstruction attempt (ye will be like gods). This historical work also includes the heroic scholarship of MONS. ROMERO, and those who supported his defense of "biblical inerrancy", and suffered the lash of white martyrdom. The time frame of 1958 to 1963 points to the dilemma of John Paul II, and the Synod of Bishops of 2001. The attack on Mons Romero refused to debate his protection of Magisterial teaching of 1900 years, but successfully resorted to the attack of "calumny", and "right wing fundamentalist conspiracy". These are the consistant, successful tactics against orthodox (right) teaching going back 40 years now. A local example of the attack on our defense of Domus Dei is the often repeated "divisive" charge to those who oppose the expensive/outrageous proposals to transform Sacred Heart Cathedral. A brilliant PROPHECY is stated in this page's last paragraph.

CONGREGATIO DE CULTU DIVINO
ET IDISCIPLINA SACRAMENTORUM
Prot. N 991/01/L
May 22, 2001

Dear Mr. Kershaw,

This Congregation has received and given attentive consideration to the letter and accompanying documentation which you have presented on behalf of Mr. James REITER, a member of the faithful of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee who has sought the injunction against all proposed work of restoration of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and an investigation in procedendo et in decernendo into the matter.

After having consulted with the Congregation for Bishops, this Dicastery wishes now to inform Mr. Reiter that this initial examination has revealed sufficient indications that the proposed restoration would not conform to the relative liturgical norms. It has therefore, in unison with the Congregation for Bishops, acted to invite Archbishop of Milwaukee to suspend work of renovation until the project may be reviewed by the Holy See.

Should Mr. Reiter have any furthur materials to submit in this matter, he is kindly asked to do so within 30 days of receipt of this letter, so as to not cause any unnecessary delay to this project.

With every good wish and kind regard, I am

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Msgr. Mario Marini
Undersecretary

[explanatory note: Mr. Kershaw is the canon lawyer representing Mr. Reiter in the "restoration" matter of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee. The liturgical design consultant for Milwaukee's Cathedral is Richard Vosko.

Our liturical design consultant speaks. Using the floor of his labyrinth at Corpus Christi Univ, Dr. Vosko states: "we need a NEW understanding of WHAT religion is and WHAT God is".....

The presentation made by Richard Vosko at this Catholic University Chapel is indicative of his anti Catholic/Christian Jungian philosophy. This is Vosko's sanctuary-Corpus Christi Univ. Chapel where the altar and ambo are cast aside on a daily basis. The labyrinth in the floor leads to inner self meaning, which is the true cross, and is the gospel according to "voskospeak". Theology according to "Voskospeak" informs us that "God is no longer out there, we are out there", as he shows slide of astronaut in space. Some educated men and women actually buy into this new age psychobabble. See [http://www.rvosko.com/CorpChristi.html] for another "new age" view.

Corpus Christi Univ. Chapel - 4/3/01

In "voskoland", the ambos and altar table are easily placed in the distance so the video screen can dramatize the meaning of "voskospeak".

Corpus Christi Univ. Chapel, Toledo Ohio 4/3/01

"Mary with the toddler, Jesus" Perhaps the only authentic piece in this structure.
The following video excerpts are evidence of an encounter with the Liturgical Design Consultant Dr. Richard Vosko, who was the major contributor to the design of this chapel with the assistance of "illuminated" students, and faculty. Dr. Vosko gave a presentation of his vision for "multi-purpose" worship space. In Voskospace, Cathedrals need to be changed to a concert hall/Disneyland environment to attract people to the "worship space."

Rev. James Basik, PhD/Pastor Corpus Christi Univ Chapel

In his smart looking suit, Fr. Basik introduced Dr. Vosko [who is not a architect, but earned a PhD at Syracuse Univ with thesis on "chair arrangment" for lecture halls, etc.] as the man responsible for the design of Corpus Christi Chapel, and admires Dr. Vosko for his "knowledge and respect for catholic heritage". He pointed out the advantages of the "grounded" stations of the cross, which are literally in the floor. Father Basik has a honorary doctorate in "voskospeak", which he acquired related to thousands of meetings he attended in the "spirit" of Vatican II University for Transformation of Catholicism" to the more grounded advantqage of "demean Divine Revelation" and "upgrade mythology". As you may know, reading Vatican II documents in "spirit" of Transformation courses is frowned on. This pastors "new age" credentials are impeccable.

The litrugical design consultant explains the design of Corpus Christi Chapel, Toledo Ohio

Dr. Vosko instructs that architecture should or must instill our need for a "total new understanding of religion, and God". Instead of using the term traditions or traditional, Dr. Vosko speaks of a breed of people who are too attached to "habits". This term encourages listeners to pity or demonize our expressions of love for Jesus and the Communion of Saints. His use of KGB disinformation techniques would impress Stalin. You may be able to see his "uplifted" countenence in these visual effects.

While admiring, Dr. Vosko's well placed gray patches, this lady might have asked him what he may be referring to in his statement: "we are going to baptize the illuminati". Would there be a double meaning to his brilliant ensemble of "voskospeak"?

During the Q&A, this gentleman (standing) had the affrontery to question Dr. Vosko's lack of clerical clothing. Also he stated that Vosko's designs depleted Domus Dei of needed Catholic symbolism to help the parishioner/laity to sense the presence of God.
"Voskospeak" had a surprising answer. He denied the alligation, and stated that he fills his designed churches with catholic symbolism. "Voskospeak" is a marval to behold.

Corpus Christi Univ. Chapel 4/3/01

This staunch looking gentlman (standing) pointed out that Vosko designs may help deprive Catholics of respect for the Real Presence of Jesus in our Tabernacles.
"Voskospeak" pointed out the Cathedrals in Rome where the tabernacles are not in the sanctuary, while failing to acknowledge the reasons, i.e. the very heavy public tourist traffic that may cause inadvertant disrespect with constant chatter, cameras going off, and non-catholics understandably moving around in church as if it was a museum for visual pleasure. Another reality, Voskospeak failed to mention. was St. Parick's Cathedral in New York, where perverted activists have attacked the Real Presence, requiring Cardinal O'Connor to place the taberancle in a safer location. These problems do not occur in medium size cathedrals or in parish churches. Unfortunately, "voskospeak" flowers among the progressive "tilt the truth machine".

Corpus Christi Chapel, Toledo, Oh. 4/03/01

"Padre Mike" gets up to defend Dr. Vosko's attire, and point out how he admires the well "grounded" stations of the cross, which are literally in the floor so folks can walk on them as they are moving around this structure. However, Padre Mike does complain about the well grounded altar that prevents one seeing the liturgy if you are not in the front rows. So much for the progressive "con-mans" request for "improved sight lines".

Corpus Christi Univ Chapel 4/3/01

Dr. Vosko (standing in front of screen) points out that it is not the clothes that make the priest, as this writer is making his way for exit to pass out respectable literature confronting "voskospeak".

the always present, but uglier than usual "babbling brook" baptismal font. This is the "centerpiece" for the "vosko enlightened" illuminati.

Corpus Christi Univ Chapel, Toledo Ohio-4/3/01

"The cross in the lobby". Dr. Vosko explained that this cross without a corpus is moved throughout the structure on a periodic basis. This enlightens everyone to realize that Jesus is everywhere, so it does not need to be in the sanctuary. Dr. Vosko is a very illuminated fellow. He was insulted and mentioned "slander", when asked if he had been trained by a KGB/ Soviet disinformation unit.
As inane as it may sound, we did witness an agnostic, steeped in new age babble, preaching the need to find oneself (by finding the "Jesus within" with the assistance of the labyrinth) to mostly agnostics, who have graduated from cafeteria Catholicism to a "I'll believe anything if it tickles my ears" attitude.

Dr. Vosko's proposals for Rochester directs that the tabernacle to one chapel and Sacred Heart statue to another chapel. A third chapel for Reconciliation/Confession is proposed. Ofcourse a large gathering space and baptismal font are "essential". The removal of pews is another cornerstone of deconstruction coupled with "sanctuary in the round" and the connecting of school, convent, rectory into a community for social/justice as well as the celebration of the "sacred arts". We will have a community project to compete with the "Blue Cross Arena" downtown for the secularization of our parish.

Our current Sacred Heart sanctuary. They claim the sanctuary needs to be bare to focus on the Mass. Then the choir loft is to be destroyed, and placed on or near the sanctuary, which is the distraction they are looking for, so we can focus on humanity instead of the Sacrifice of the Mass, which IF consecrated validly, Jesus's promise to us is consumated and we have "God with us" at the moment of Consecration of the bread and wine.

What use to be.
St. Ambrose R. C. sanctuary.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, retired Bishop of Rochester, New York in 1976 warned that there was the beginning of what he called a "de-eucharization."

At a Eucharistic Congress in honor of Mary, Archbishop Sheen stated before a huge crowd of 50,000: "How often I have entered small churches and I have had to search for Our Lord in the Eucharist. I say with Mary Magdalen, 'they have taken away my Lord and I do not know where they have laid Him,' He's been shoved off to a corner and some priest stands before the altar as a kind of tin god."
Archbishop Sheen had spotted a trend that has intensified in the years since-but that Catholics are now seeking to reverse (as witnessed by protests that recently caused the Vatican to at least temporarily halt modernistic renovation to a cathedral in Milwaukee).
Nuns should be in classrooms, said Sheen, and everyone should practice a holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament. He said priests making the holy hour "will spew forth sparks in the pulpit and the people will love you." He told nuns that a holy hour would enlighten them as to how much they are needed by schoolchildren. He blasted Catholics who were going to Mass "in the state of mortal sin" and those who "go before the Savior as if they were going for a pizza." As for women clergy: "Mary was not a priest," he said. "If the Lord wanted women to be priests, He would have made his own mother a priest." [courtesy of {www.spiritdaily.com}]

WHERE DID ALL THE DEACONS GO?

Thursday morning communion service/St. Johns of Spencerport. DEACONS need not apply.
FYI: Deacon Larry VanEtten is listed as staff.

IT IS IRONIC, considering the threats of Fr. Michatek, that MARY RAMERMAN, who is now the Pastor of SPIRITUS CHRISTI, started in the 70's with Communion services at CORPUS CHRISTI.

Perhaps, SHIRLEY CURATOLO, the Religious Ed. Coordinator at St. John the Evangelist will follow Mary, who is a wonderful human being, but currently not a Catholic.

Movement of Tabernacle Mandated in letter from Bishop Clark to Fr. Bill Michatek

St. John the Evangelist, Spencerport NY, bulletin March 4, 2001
"....One very divisive issue we have been involved in is the proposed renovation of our church which all agree is necessary, but have been churning our wheels on one issue, the location of the tabernacle in our worship space. It was suggested that I ask the bishop himself as our chief Shepherd for a response on this issue. The thinking was if we ask him what he expects, the faithful would be brought to be WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES expected. I asked Bishop Matthew Clark to send us an instruction on this issue and he wrote back. His letter follows: BISHOPS OFFICE- Feb 21, 2001
Dear Bill:
Thank you for all you have done thus far to educate your people about the universal liturgical norms governing the layout of a church as you plan for the renovation of St. John the Evangelist Church.
While I understand that it was the WISH of some parishioners to place the tabernacle once again in the central axis of the sanctuary because this is what they are FAMILIAR WITH, you have exercised your role as pastor and teacher well in presenting the theology and practice of the Church. This theology and practice, represented in legislation still in force throughout the Roman Catholic Church, call for the tabernacle to be located in a separate chapel of devotion OUTSIDE the body of the church or when this is not possible, in a reverently defined area within the sanctuary, apart from the central axis.
I realize that some good and faithful voices in your community wish to delay your renovation in hopes that this universal legislation might change. The recently released Latin typical edition of the revised Preface to the Roman Missal, which will not become particular law for our country for some time yet, does provide for greater latitude but leaves the judgment to the diocesan bishop. It is my considered judgment that the current policies on this matter in the Diocese of Rochester are sound and hence will NOT change. Thanking you again for your faithful ministry on behalf of God's people, I am, Sincerely yours, Matthew H. Clark BISHOP of Rochester--Practicality, compromise and Christian charity must be paramount in planning the renovation of our church. I hope that this can give us a direction to go in that will be WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES of the church and our bishop. Peace at last, Fr. Bill Michatek"

[COMMENTS: 1.) Practically nobody but leadership sees need for nothing more than maintenance, i.e. carpet replacement, bathrooms and general upkeep. However, this will not be allowed till radical reconstruction is completed. 2.) "wish" and "familiar with" are direct insults to laity.3.) Avoiding the prayers of the faithful, Bishop Clark reveals his ability to be a tyrant in a bogus interpretation of truth. 4.) After almost three years of dialogue, many parishioners are convinced they have been speaking with con men and bandit ladies bent on re-inventing Catholicism. Video photos of St. John the Evangelist are on this website.

HIGHLIGHTS of BISHOP CLARK'S column- Catholic Courier 3/8/01 ALONG THE WAY by Bishop Matthew H. Clark

"An INVITATION to JOIN in the Renovation PROCESS"
...."a significant meeting we had at Sacred Heart last Wednesday. That was the first meeting of the committee we have established to lead us through the renovation of Sacred Heart Cathedral....was happy to join them and our project consultant, Father Richard Vosko, in this initial session...
What I heard and saw interested me deeply, I heard, even in this moment of introduction, some good ideas about RENEWING our cathedral...The group modeled for me what I hope will be among the hallmarks of the whole renovation experience...
I have known our consultant , DICK VOSKO, a priest of the Diocese of Albany, for years and am delighted he will be involved in the RENEWAL of our cathedral...His work has earned him a reputation for respect for our tradition, broad knowledge in art, architecture and liturgy; and the ability to work with experts in those and other areas that are so important in such projects.
Among his achievements is the renovation of ST. JAMES CATHEDRAL for the Archdiocese of SEATTLE. I have seen the RENEWED St. James. Although I seldom use the word AWESOME, I use it to describe St. James. It is beautiful, truly beautiful, and enhances the worship of that community in wonderful ways.
Current projects of Father Vosko are the cathedrals of the archdioceses of Los Angeles and Milwaukee, and the Diocese of Memphis.
Such samples of his background, I hope, give you confidence that his work is well respected across the country, especially in those dioceses that enjoy the fruits of his labor.
As I often do, I want to leave you with a few questions and a request or two to stimulate your thinking and elicit your input.
1)...2)...3)...4)..what about Sacred Heart would you most like to see upgraded, renewed, changed? What should we be most careful to preserve and honor? What reasons support your recommendations?.....
Peace to all."
[COMMENTS; nothing stated about lighting, bathrooms nor "no decisions have been made." Looks like he's signaling what he wants. His followers will voice his direction. You should know that St. James of SEATTLE is a $8,000,000 theatre/altar "in the round", go to www.rvosko.com under "projects" for photo ]

The insult to St. Ambrose

ST. AMBROSE, BISHOP OF MILAN [4TH CENTURY ANNO DOMINO]

St. Ambrose baptised the convert who became St. Augustine, Bishop of Hippo. As a pagan, Augustine was deeply impressed with the preaching of St. Ambrose, which directly led to his conversion.
St. Augustine was the acknowledged force behind convincing the bishops of Christianity that a authentic bible was needed. There were many texts at the time that were used, which did not pass the test of the Holy Spirit in Magesterium. The Magisterium [international conference of bishops in union with the Papacy] gave us the bible in the fourth century. It was without error in the Christian world for a thousand years till Martin Luther needed to delete a couple of chapters related to his convictions: "justification by faith alone", denial of purgatory, and "solo scriptura". It is ironic that Martin deleted scripture, while professiing "solo scriptura".
The Magesterium gave us the same sacred scripture we read and cherish to this day. Anno Domino (A.D.) 2001- [crproc@webtv.net]

"The Rite of Rededication of the Church and Annonting of the Altar" by Bishop Matthew H. Clark, Sunday 2/18/01, St. Ambrose Church, Rochester NY - started at 10AM. Times recorded on video shots are accurate. Final procession was at 11:55AM

St. Ambrose, recently reconfiguered. Renovated to seduce and inspire joy in the "worship space" of Pastor Michael Schrammel.

Three "vestal girls" circle altar of sacrirfice with incense baskets. This "flight of prancing" came after the profession of faith and before the communion. Weep, you are about to see the offertory, Rochester diocesan style. Upon complaing that we witnessed a illegal liturgy, I was told: "lighten up, dont you see the joy in the room"!

DANCE, LITURGICAL
"The practice of dancing during the liturgy arose during the years after the general liturgical reform of Vatican II. Although it has occurred in the United States and no doubt in other countries as well, it has never been approved by the Holy See. In fact, on several occasions the Holy See, when made aware of instances of liturgical dance, has asked that the practice be discontinued."

The dance to Ambrosia 2/18/01

The three "vestal girls" joyfully danced thru the aisles of this "cross designed" structure engulfing the pagans in attendance with the "JOY of inculturation", and the "peoples gathering space". Catholics were not amused.

Corner of Empire&Culver, Rochester NY 2/18/01

Having spread the "gleeful news" up and down the aisles, the "vestal girls" gathered in the center aisle and "joyfully" twirled their way to the baptismal font. where they deposited their incense at the font, which was a "focal point" of this "rededication"

the altar table cloth was then danced down the aisle by two "vestal girls".

This was a very "joy filled event". Catholics were not amused, as the altar table covering is gleefully waved down the center aisle.

St Ambrose Reconfiguered Church 2/18/01

The "Vestal girls" prepare the altar table for Director, Mathew Clark. This rendition of the "Temple of Ambrosia" was first produced by Igora Clarksikov in 1951. Igora could not be reached for comment. It is rumored she passed from the earthly sphere in the room next to Joseph Stalin, her mentor. Igora's last words are reported to have been "to destroy the power of Catholicism, you must destroy her liturgy" Agents were in place to mesmerize many a fool.

Post delivery of the altar covering, the "vestal girls" respecfully bowed and marched off 'in step". Curiously, the bulletin reports last weeks total envelopes collected were 390 with a $5,967.58 input. Another dramatic decrease related to parishioners fleeing the futuristic architecture and liturgy of Pastor Schramel and Pastoral Associate Sr. Gertrude Erb, RSM

The rededicated "many a buck" baptismal font, where the babbling brook of chlorinated water flows. NBC reported cost of $800,000 to move tabernacle, remove relics, round pews, and build "daily Mass chapel" where baptistry was. Somebody said we could have spent that on scholarships for inner city kids to attend Catholic schools. She was told to "lighten up".
