My name is David James and I am a 41 year old Female Impersonator living and performng in Oklahoma City. OK. I have been active in theatre all my life and have been performing in my drag act for the last eighteen years. I am proud to have performed all around the Mid-West including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, and Kansas. I dropped my stage name "Amanda Love" in 1995 after being invited to participate at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for the 10th Anniversary of An Evening at La Cage. By that time my act consisted almost exclusively of celebrity impersonations, and being acknowledged by my own name was important to me! I soon realized that while pageant competition hasn't been a major goal in my entertainment career, I am proud of the titles I have carried in the past, including ~ Miss Gay Tulsa 1988 ~ Miss Club Burgundy 1988 ~ Miss Tool Box 1991 ~ Miss Gushers (Copa) 1994. I also very proudly represented Oklahoma in Las Vegas with my illusions of Cher and Liza Minnelli. |

Although I had made plans to move to Las Vegas to further my career, I found myself making a home here in OKC, and having the privilege of becoming the Saturday Night Show-Host at a charming cabaret-style lounge, The Hi-Lo Club. I find that the Mid-West states, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas,and Louisiana are rich in both female impersonation talent, and a willing audience for quality shows.
