But first let me introduce myself. My name is Debbie. Here in my webpages you will see a few photos of my wonderful family. But mostly you will find information about Rheumatoid Arthritis. Because I love cat's. I had to add a few links I have enjoyed, plus a few pic's of my "Fur-Babies". I hope you enjoy yourself, and maybe learn something you never knew before. RA can start at any age! You don't have to be old. I hear that all the time! "You're too young to have Arthritis!"...Not true! .......An update as of March 2006.. I injured my right knee in a fall. It got infected with "Staph", and became "septic" too. I was in the hospital over 2 mo. and had 2 surgeries to remove dead muscle, and tissue from my right leg...I was then in a nursing home over 1 mo. And had to live with my parents for 7 mo. so they could take care of me. I almost didn't live through this. It has left me unable to walk, and in a wheelchair. With the help of knee braces, and a walker, I recently got...I can take a few steps! But I can't go for long.(6/24/07) It's been a l-o-n-g year! We had to move into an appartment that has no steps. I love it here! We have a large place, and a beautiful, private patio... And though my hubby, Steve was ill last year too. He is taking very good care of me.. Or, I should say.. We are taking good care of eachother! But still, it's my Mom that keeps me going...She (and Dad) have been such a blessing to us. Mom, and my faith in God I should say... There is reason for all this.. I'll know someday when the time is right. What it is.
