![]() | Bezier |
| <--CONTENTS-->Note: I am using a 600 x 600 blank gif. Bezier is like Polyline. They both need more then three sets of parameters which draw from one coordinate to the next. It's as if it were drawing a dot to dot picture. However, unlike Polyline, Bezier creates curves. You remember those? Maybe the example below will give you an understanding of how Bezier works. We will first exaimine the Heart. Here is one I did on a 600 x 600 gif. I did it in two parts because I wanted the bottom to be pointed. The one below was drawn in only one step. I want you to see the Difference. Now you know the reason why I am working this in two parts. The example below show the same heart coordinates used with Polyline which draws from the start parameters to the final parameter. This next one is a Half Polygon and half Bezier. See how the points are stretched high above and out from where I want the heart to be? Remember how I said that one of the Characteristics is instead of moving point to point It cuts off the point and curves instead. I hope this helped you to understand the working of Bezier better about choosing coordinates to create something with BEZIER. You could say I am trying to teach you to fish instead of giving you the fish. I want you to know how to use Bezier to make whatever your heart desires to create. No pun intended.
Surprised? See how easy it is to draw a dewdrop? Create diamond shape and and then choose Bezier. Susanna |
