a poem about friendship
TO MICHELLE
(FROM A FRIEND)

I had to do more than just say "goodbye" today. I wanted you to know that you touched my life in a very special way. And when the situation you were facing was rough. there you were, with the same sweet smile, being determined and tough. You fought a battle, you had no warning that you'd be in. It was as if the disease and your will to live were equally pinned. But in my eyes you won the victory. Even though you had to go and leave us alone, but Michelle so many loved you, and are glad God took you home.
This was written for a dear friend of mine who had suffered from leukemia and who fought courageously but lost the battle~Diana Kahn~
