AN INTRODUCTION FROM DIANA
This page has been created to save some of my poems, written during various times throughout my life. I was born on Jan. 10th, 1952, and continue to enjoy life in the city that I was born in. This site is dedicated to all those in my life that were a major influence, especially my family, teachers and friends, who encouraged me to continue with my writing, even if it should never be published. They realized that this outlet for my emotions and thoughts, was a positive ambition as well as a cathartic therapy
And, even though some of the poems seem pretty gloomy or depressing they only reflect what I was feeling at the time and not the person that I am all the time. In fact, most of the people that I know ,also know that I have another side to my personality...being able to be silly, laugh a lot,and never forget to thank God, each day that He wakes me up, to enjoy the world that He created .
It is just too bad that we, as humans cannot LEARN to get along with each other in the world, and acknowledge that God is the Blessed Controller of all things, and all the money, power, greed and hatred is not going to get anyone anywhere toward eternity. Enough of my opinions, right?! Hope you enjoy the poems....Peace!!
