My first experience with this breed began in 1992 when I acquired my first stafford from Richstaff Kennels in Louisiana. That was when the love of this breed began for me. Rosie is my foundation bitch and first champion. Since then there have been six champions to follow in her footsteps. Her granddaughter Ch. DJ's Lady in Red Velvet was the #1 Bitch in 1999. The stafford is a unique breed which gives much of itself to it's owner. They love people and children especially, being known as the children's nursemaid in England.
