How to stop animation
Have you ever had an image that you wished wasn't animated? Here you will learn how to stop the animation. It is really very simple.
- Take an animated image to Gif works:
http://www.gifworks.com/cgi-bin/gifworks.pl
Here is an animated gif that you can use to practice with:
http://community.webtv.net/doriedew/ddf2/scrapbookFiles/importD62.gif
- Click the button that says "file", then click on "open".
- On the next page, drop down to the bottom and enter the URL of the image, and click "fetch image".
- Once the image is there, click on the button that says "optimize", and click on "split into frames".
- When you get to the next page, the image will be shown separately in each frame used to animate it. Chose the image you wish to save, and click on it.
- Now click on the file button again, and click on "save".
- When you are carried to the next page, drop down to the bottom, and click on where it says, "temporary Webtv URL"....or enter FTP information to transload the image. (Your image will be displayed so you upload it into your scrapbook, when you click the Webtv link.)
That's all there is to it! Have fun.
