Basic Email Signature
So you want to learn how to make an email signature? OK....let's figure this out.
First you need to locate your sig (Signature) box.
- Click on email from your home page. (Your home page is the first page you come to when you get online)
- Now look at the top of your email listing and you will see: Settings.
- Click on settings.
- You will be taken to another page. Look for the word signature and click on it.
- Congratulations! That box you now see is your signature box. You will be putting all the codes for an email signature here.
Now that you have found where to add the codes to make your signature let's move on to learning how to use codes to make one.
This is a basic signature code that will have a colored background and text, your image centered, and music.
The complete code would look like this:
is always the first line in your sig box. ALWAYS!
is always the last line in your sig box
DO NOT put the or anywhere but at the first and last lines! This is very important.
The rest of your codes go between and
This code is telling your unit what color you want the background and text of your signature.
Next you would have a code for an image.
img src stands for image source. This tells the webtv unit were to get the image you want to use.
(One of the major reasons an image is not showing up is due to SRC being typed in wrong. Make sure your letters are in the correct order.)
To tell your unit that you want to align your image right or left you would have to add this to your Image code:

To center your image, the code would be like his:
You would replace the ? with the size.
Now you have a back ground color and an image. Let's add some music.
The code for music is:
bgsound src="URL of song" tells your unit where to look for the song.
auto start="faster" tells it to start as soon as the email is opened.
loop="1" will have the song play once. You can put any number here or a minus 1 (-1) to have it play over and over.
Add other images anywhere here you want, using the img src code above.
