Muppet Y2K Tape Trade Page

Thank you for checking out my Muppet/Jim Henson tape trade page. For those of you who have wanted to do a trade in the past when i was taking a break from tape trading, i'm now ready to do trades again. I am doing a new inventory of my collection so please only ask for items you see on my page...if you don't see what you're looking for, i'm updating constantly and i have a HUGE collection, so check back often!

I will trade items on this list for other Muppet/Jim Henson related items. If you don't see something here, it's either on my "WANT LIST" or i have it but haven't added it yet. Even if you see an item listed here, there still may be the possibility i can use another copy due to it being a different version/edit or overall better copy. In the event you don't have anything to trade with, i will dub copies for the cost of tapes and postage as a last resort (i do collect some other things besides Jim Henson/Muppets so check with me first
- some other things i collect are One Life to Live episode/clips, various cartoons/puppetry, Eurythmics/Annie Lennox/Dave Stewart and Siobhan Fahey/Shakespear's Sister video items, Pet Shop Boys video items, wet/messy/pie-in-the-face type slapstick, progressive documentaries, and other various items).

This page doubles as a tape trade page and personal inventory so there will be some items on here that are commercially available...out of respect for the Jim Henson Company, i will not trade those items when they can be bought and supports JHC. If a previously released item is no longer in print, i will do trades in that case. (Or if an item is not commercially available in whatever country i'm trading with). Another exception to this would be if i have a different version than what was commercially released (ie if cuts were made).

I'm always happy to trade with people from outside the USA - i do have the ability to transfer PAL tapes you send me to NTSC VHS. However, i can only send tapes in NTSC VHS format - if you need to convert them, this will be your responsibility.

I NOW HAVE A DVD RECORDER so i can now tape in either DVD or VHS. I can also accept DVD or VHS - i usually prefer DVD UNLESS you have an older or not very good DVD recorder where the DVDs look computery and pixilated or if the DVD's tend to freeze up. Because of the new "toy" i'm now going through my entire collection and converting (oh how much more SPACE i'll have when everything get changed over! - i literally have videotape WALLS) so as a result, i'm now starting from scratch as per my inventory so as i update and confirm and catalogue stuff it will appear here...so sorry if things look a little slim at the moment!)

To arrange a tape trade, email me at dw_m@webtv.com

2010 NOTE:

AM REFORMATTING THIS PAGE DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS. I'M DOING SOME CHANGES TO MY INVENTORY METHODS AND ADJUSTING THE PAGE TO LIST STUFF BY YEAR. WHILE I'M CHANGING STUFF AROUND I'M STILL OPEN TO TRADING SO FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME AT DW_M@WEBTV.NET

A NOTE ON DATES:

This page is organized in approximate chronological order. Dates are only used as an indication of when something debuted; they don't necessarily mean that the recording in question is from that specific airdate.

A NOTE ON SESAME STREET EPISODES

When i've listed episodes of Sesame Street (and other Sesame productions that include segments from the show within them), i also have listed the Muppet/Henson segments that appear in them. In most cases i have the complete episode - but only list out those clips that either the Muppets or Henson were involved with. There are several episodes on this page that are only made up of the Muppet/Henson segments with other material edited out; i've noted which episodes are edits when this occurs - if an episode isn't mentioned as being "Muppet/Henson segments only", it's the full episode.
