Five-member Sonic Youth play music that is pleasing to the ears.

The Strokes Is This It?

Overhyped ,yes. Overated, no. Once again sounds like everything great that came before it. Julian Casablancas is a good vocalist even though it sounds like he's singing through a megaphone. *Note: Buy the import. The intro to NYC Cops is the funniest moment on the record and the cover is much better.

The Dictators D.F.F.D.

Twenty plus years since their last album and they haven't missed a beat. Makes the Strokes sound like the Go-Go's.

Steve Wynn Here Comes The Miracles

It says on the cover this is Steve Wynn's Exile on Main Street or his Physical Grafitti which is true.Somewhere on these two discs there is one great album

Ass Ponys Lohio

The Ass Ponys find their best sound. Alt- country album of the year. Pere Ubu meets Marshall Tucker. A great record.

Comeback Of The Year

Ian Hunter Rant

Old school rocker gets pissed at England and makes a great record. He now lives in Connecticut.

Not For Everyone

Julian Cope side project. Loud,abnoxious, and funny.

Underrated

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Echo

The one that most people missed. Could be his best album.Fans of alt- country may like this too. Good songs . Good playing. Good album.

Overrated

Bob Dylan " Love And Theft "

Not bad. Not the great album it's supposed to be. Not Time Out Of Mind.
