FAIRYLAND

Once Upon A Time . . .

in a land far, far away, lived two little Fairy Twins in a small Fairy Village called, "Hush."
Their names were Misty and Dew and
they were both extremely happy. What they liked to do most was to play with their favorite toys: the little dewdrops that fell from the trees.
Caused by the morning mist, these little drops glistened and shimmered in the morning sun and Misty and Dew could just not get enough of them.
They would catch them, toss them to each other and play with them, because to them they were like tiny little shiny balls.

Misty and Dew had many playmates in this tiny village.

Most of the time (and I mean from morning to night) their two best friends played with them.

These four little fairies were almost inseparable.
There was one differene: these little friends were much more interested in berries than in dewdrops. That is why everyone called them the, "Berry Sisters." There real names were Sweet-Berry and Sour-Berry.

Perhaps you would think that the two sets of twins had not much in common, but you would really be wrong. All four little fairies were very inquisitive, and that is why they were able to learn so much from each other. Misty and Dew taught Sweet and Sour all about dewdrops and where they came from and
Sweet and Sour in turn taught them all about the wonderful berries that grew all over their mystical forest.

Meet little fairy

Sweet Berry

She really is one of the sweetest fairies you could ever meet.

And here is her little sister,

Sour Berry

Even though her name suggests anything but sweet, she is a wonderful playmate and lovable companion.

Beautiful Lake LILA Near The Village Of HUSH

The small village of Hush was located near the beautyful Lake Lila, a lake visited by many birds, but a special home for the colorful peacocks and swans. Once in a great while there was a special visit made by the wonderful white peacocks. It was always a big excitement for the little fairies, who adored these great birds.

This was the day that these white, gracious birds would arrive at the lake and everyone prepared for this event.

Misty and Dew placed all the dew drops they had played with, back onto the flowers, leaves and grass, because they were very careful not to disturb nature.

Sweet and Sour quickly gathered all their berries to take them home to their mother. Not one of the berries were crushed. They also were very careful with nature's gifts. This is how they were taught by their parents.

They all hurried to the lake, because these beautiful birds would not remain there very long.

Harald and Celda,

These gorgeous white peacocks had much to tell about all the places they had visited and the animal- and bird-world outside the Village of Hush!

A Great Party

Everyone was very excited about this great event. There was so much to talk about. The two white birds were just such an awesome sight that it took awhile for everyone to comprehend all the things that they had just heard.
A group of little fairies planned to make this a party. Misty, Dew, and the Berry Sisters were some of the first ones to start dancing. What a lovely picture it was.

Let me see if I can possibly show you how much fun they all really had. You could even hear the little flowers giggle and the trees that were draped over the lake, looked very pleased indeed. The birds and butterflies flew excitedy around everyone and the laughter could be heard far across the lake.

Who had the most fun? It is really hard to say.
One thing is for sure, our foursome, Misty, Dew, Sweet, and Sour had a really good time (as you all can see).

As you may well know, the absolute favorite thing for fairies to do is dancing. They also know how to play many games while dancing. One of the games is something we also know a little about: a contest.

Yes, they held a contest to choose the most beautiful "Fairy Dancer." Oh, it was a really tough choice. For instance there was "Belinda," a gracious fairy that knew all the tricks of the dances and kept everyone spellbound. Some thought she should absolutely win.

Here, I'll show you how she handles herself in some of her dances.

Lovely BELINDA In One Of Her Dances!

I am sure you can see just what the judges were up against. But as always, they finally had to come to a decision.

The announcement was made:

And The Winner Is:

Beautiful J U L I E

All of the little fairies were very happy with the outcome and congratulated little Julie. Yes, even Belinda came over to say that she was so happy that Julie had won, because she also thought that Julie was the prettiest dancing fairy of them all.

So, the celebration went on and became wilder and wilder with everyone participating in the dance.

Even the totally hilarious imp-fairy (who always played the serious one), did some astonishing jumps. Everyone could see that with all his heart, he really enjoyed himself.

But like it sometimes is, (even in our lives when there is a big party) there are some little things that happen that are not so nice. And it is no different in this happy society of little fairies.

This time is was just a minor incident. Beautiful Cindy twisted her ankle in the excitement. It was not too bad, but she had to massage it a little and bandage it, so the pain would go away soon.

Everyone ran or flew over to console her and her best friend Catherina stayed with her until she felt better.

As wonderful as this party was, even in Fairyland things must come to an end.
It was getting late. If you looked across the lake, you could see the sun setting. It was a beautiful site. Just see for yourself!
