This page is about the Falconbirds of North Carolina.(To protect the innocent their real name is not being used ).They were fortunate enough to spend the first half of their life in one great urban area, Montreal; the second half in another, Boston; and the remaining half (?) here in the southern part of heaven - which is so except for July .
Mr. Falconbird(Bill) was a Chartered
Accountant. now retired, who spent most of his career with the Gillette Company. His hobbies are jazz (he is a Trustee Emeritus of Berklee College of Music, played piano in the Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra for almost twenty years, collects CDs and writes reviews) and walking. He loves his antique browser, WebTV, as he has heard rumors that a computer must be operated at a desk in front of a small monitor. Bill prefers using a sofa and a 32 inch TV.
Mrs.Falconbird (Nina ) is an active homemaker. Her hobbies are cooking and (since open heart surgery in 1997) exercise and walking. As these latter activities originally took place at 6:30 am three days a week Nina was transformed involuntarily from a night person into an early bird like Bill . She detests computers and tolerates WebTV.
The Falconbirds have two children. Steve lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Adrienne, and their children, Alex and Suzanne. Heather and her two children, Charlene and Tim, are in Prince Edward Island with her husband,John. They moved there from Edmonton in 2000. A new addition is Charlotte, Charlene's beautiful daughter.
