Well, first off, this year's Anime North was better than last year, but not by much. Last year's assortment of guests offset this year's ability to videotape the Cosplay on Saturday night, and as a result, I've got some great captures to share. UPDATE: I think this was the group waiting to get in Saturday Morning. There was a Lime in the cosplay in the Young Fan Division, but Bell-chan and this particular kawaii young lady dressed as Lime were not. ^_^
10-10-2001: I was recently contacted by the brother of Lime-chan pictured here about this info. Now I wish I had more video of the Lime in line. ^_^
I guess I have to obsess about one particular costume. This one is always a favorite of mine, but she wasn't the one I really got excited about. This beautiful young lady was volunteering (I think) in the consuite. Too bad I didn't stick around and try to invite her up to my room.

Though she was shy, she was in the cosplay with her friend. Dada is it? From Bakuretsu Hunters. She's probably the only really important character in that series that I care about. (BH is also another anime I really don't care for, in spite of a few good female characters.)
Cool wide screen snappy from 2 captures. There was too much red light used, and I used Paint Shop Pro to remove most of it. This was the first of several excellent entries this year. Too bad I don't have a video of last year's Anime North cosplay. (And we know who to blame, ne?)
I know exactly where these costumes came from. Not too long before Anime North, there were at least 2 people auctioning off their services to make these costumes. It's funny how both entrants with Eternal Sailor Moon costumes look practically identical. I should see if I can find the disk with the one pic of that costume saved...
Good thing the words "on" and "big" aren't in this one. (No comment.) ^_^
