Did you know a panther is a leopard...the spots are there in the right light...but it appears to be black but the color markings are there...leopard...panther!

Cheetahs can not climb trees like the other big cats...the lions can climb a bit but are heavy...the top predator cat is a leopard, who can climb and pull its prey to its cubs safe in high trees...the cheetah hides her babies in a ground den and constantly is on guard....on the ground the cubs are helpless and this leads to the high death rate of cheetahs.

a tough but gorgous animal must eat almost daily as she cannot store fat...that would slow down the fastest land mammal on earth...the cheetah.
