I have a lot of young Red Albinos and Full Red Albinos, as well as the nicest Green Deltas you have ever seen that will be up to size and ready March 1st.
Flowerhorn and Red Texas Cichlids are now available For Sale @ Guppy Alternative. They are young and small now, so you can get them @ a good time to start your tank with a lower price for the small size. Click on the Flowerhorn or Red Texas link on the page menu for photos and pricing. Yes, we still have over 200 tanks of guppies, but are expanding into some Cichlids. I have had a long time interest in Cichlids, and bred Discus exclusively in the 1980's. Between the looks and popularity of these new cichlids, I couldn't resist getting back in and stocking my large tanks up again.

Attention San Francisco Bay Area Customers!

If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, or anywhere in California and would like to visit beautiful Santa Cruz and purchase your guppies in person while you are here- please call Frank @ 831.426.3307 for an appointment.We are located 2 blocks from the beach, and 2 miles from the Boardwalk. Guppy Alternative is not a store, and does not have regular hours, so you do need to call in advance and set an appointment time to purchase your guppies. Appointments are available Wednesday through Sunday. Due to time constraints I can only take appointments for those wishing to purchase guppies- I just do not have enough time to offer sightseeing tours. The weather is beautiful now.

Guppy Alternative has been operating @ this web address since 1998..It is my goal to offer a large range of guppies for sale with differing price and quality levels so almost anyone can find something to their liking in the price range they are looking for. Every fish offered for sale on my website has been bred and tank raised here in my indoor hatchery in Santa Cruz, California..The types of guppies like Japanese, German , Moscows etc. that you will find available here are not imported.
