Free 5 x 7 portrait of my BRANDY taken on Sat. Feb. 12, 2005 at Petco (35th Ave./Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix) for the grand opening weekend special, which also included free caricature, free toys, free cat/dog food samples, free popcorn (for us), and free bag of cat or dog food(!) Despite a very wet raining day, public attendance was a success (probably for the free stuff, heh-heh). Brandy was in a good mood in 2 long-ish lines (one for portrait, the other for caricature), though she probably wished she was home already. She enjoyed looking at the cute, friendly Conure (who looked like it wanted to perch on Brandy's head) and viewing a tank full of goldfish! Brandy was so relaxed and serene the entire day! Shoppers stopped to gaze at Brandy's beauty as she rested in her own pet carrier atop the front shopping cart; one man complimented that she's a beautiful cat. The photographer, Karen (same name as mine- she pointed that out, LOL. I told her Brandy's 'smugshot' is like what you see in the cat magazines), and caricaturist, Nancy, were very nice and fun. I give the two gals kudos for giving away free labor for the weekend- they must've been exhausted...
