These recordings were taken from analog tape sources. Further, in order to accommodate bandwidth limits and transmission, they have been reduced in resolution (i.e. using sampling, limiters, stereo mixed to monaural, etc.). These changes affect overall instrumental articulation, color, and quality, as well as general fidelity.
