On the lake today with Shawn and Roy Griffin of Symrna. All fish came on live threadfin and small gizzard shad delivered via weighted freelines on light spinning tackle. Most were hybrids with a few decent stripers as well. Most notable, was a 6 lb spotted bass boated by Shawn. It was the biggest spotted bass I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. Greenfish are a by-product of striper fishing for us. However, at times, we do catch a lot of them. Like the 8 1/2 lb largemouth last April caught on a downrod gizzard shad. Water temp was 52.
