Where Love is, God is, for God is Love.
Love is not love of man for woman,
But Love of one soul for another.
In Love all are brothers and sisters,
Some closer in spirit than others.
As a father Loves all of his children
And loses not Love for any,
So siblings in spirit can Love other siblings
Without lessening the Love for one.
Not cold and dutiful, but warm and tender,
Love seeks the Loved one's happiness.
Love knows no desire but companionship.
Though it needs no caresses, it is not cold
To the touch of a Loved one's hand.
As a father softly strokes his young daughter's hair
And holds no impure thought,
So friends in Love feel Love's tenderness
Without the pain of desire.
