Harmonic Eve's #10 from Afterglow: In Search of Serenity

You may print this piano sheet music from your computer for free.

Eve Adam, a.k.a. Harmonic Eve (formerly Phyllis Eve Weiler)

This piano solo was split between pages 23 and 24 of my manuscript, within the 33 pages of my copyrighted suite. Only a few of the 14 pieces in the suite have the optional lyrics. This is not one with lyrics. On the particular copy of my manuscript from which I scanned images for the next two pages of this web site, there were a few stray instructions to myself for a re-spacing I never completed. I hope you will be able to disregard them if you happen to notice them at all.

Eve Adam, March 20, 2005: Like other music I have presented already on the Internet, this was written by me when I was a young stay-at-home mother many years ago. The full title of this #10 piece is "In Search of Serenity." It was copyrighted as the tenth piece within "Afterglow: A Piano Suite With Optional Lyrics." The music for this part of my piano suite is melodious and rather easy as solos go. Adult size hands are an asset, but probably are not necessary for a highly motivated youngster.

Copyright registration was originally for the suite as a whole when I sent two complete copies and a fee to the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. in 1961. The status was "unpublished" at that time. Now I am publishing this portion on the Internet with the hope that pianists of any age, even those with only a modest skill level, can enjoy it. Although there are no lyrics, its beauty can be brought out if the piano's melody line is allowed to "sing" with feeling.

This sheet music may be printed from your computer on two sheets of 8 1/2" by 11" normal size paper, with the normal computer's black ink. For this particular piece, without knowing your computer and printer arrangement, I find it difficult to tell whether landscape or portrait orientation will work best for you. (They both work for me.) To get clues from my other compositions and their instructions for printing, click on the link directly below. If you prefer to look here first, just click on the "next page" link at the bottom of this page. The colored background will not show on your printed page if you have normal printer settings.
