Harmonic Eve's #7 Afterglow Song: Keepsake Memories

Words and music by Eve Adam, also known as Harmonic Eve and formerly known as Phyllis Eve Weiler

This is the seventh piece in my piano suite.

"Keepsake Memories" was copyrighted in 1961 as the 7th piece in "Afterglow: A Piano Suite With Optional Lyrics." I was then a young stay-at-home mother. In those days we were not using computers and the programs now available with them. After I made a rough draft of my fourteen-piece composition, I was then willing and able to painstakingly place each note with India Ink on a vellum from which blueprint type copies could be made. Now the vellum is completely unusable and the copies then made have yellowed with age. Even my name has changed since then. (See my "Harmonic Eve's Ancient Pics" site for information about my earlier life.)

I discovered quite recently that by making Xerox copies of the yellowed pages, using the "light" setting, I could eliminate the yellow and achieve a mostly white background behind the notes. So instead of scanning the manuscript, I scanned the Xerox of the manuscript to provide you with more attractive and legible images from which to make your own printed copies.

Each page has a separate URL. Each should be printed as a complete page to include the page number, title, and composer name as I wrote them already on the computer pages. The colored background will not show in your printed copy.

This is one of the shorter pieces in my suite. It originally began on page 15. For this stand-alone copy, I have re-numbered the pages. If you print the song, you will have three pages of sheet music.

Although not all of the pieces in my suite have lyrics, this one does. To read and/or print the lyrics separately from the music, click on the link below to go to these specific lyrics within my "Harmony of Life" web site.

To see other non-commercial, family-friendly sites I have made, click on the link below. It goes to page 2 of "Harmonic Eve Extras." The sheet music sites listed there may have suggestions you can apply in printing music from this site. Remember that normal size paper and normal black computer printer ink will be sufficient for making copies from your printer.
