Memories
![]() In memory of our beautiful white, blue eyed kitty who gave us 6 years of love and pleasure. ![]() Snowflake was presented to me on Christmas by my son... at my request, after learning of his plight. He was brought home a week earlier by my son after finding him wandering in a trailer court one cold winter night. Since he was such a pretty kitty and so loveable, I knew he had to belong to someone , and suggested my son take him back where he found him. A few days went by and the son came home telling me he was still wandering around with no home. In checking with neighbors, he found out that Snowflake was in fact a stray, and the neighbor had been feeding him scraps of food on occasion. Of course, when I heard that, the scene changed quickly. At the late hour of his arrival with this story, I asked him to take me to where the kitty was, and that would be my Christmas gift from him that year. Snowflake's plight ended with a red ribbon around his neck and the tender loving care he so deserved. He definitely was a special kitty that won't be forgotten soon. We are unsure what caused Snowflake's death, except to suspect that he lapped some antifreeze from underneath a neighbor's car - while he was servicing it. He was near death when I found him in the window-well, and died within 30 minutes of getting him to the vet's office. We still keep him in our conversations and reminisce the cute things he did. ![]() ![]() |
