On August 1, 2002, I decided to go shopping for pet supplies. When I got out of my car and was walking toward the store, I saw a small white kitty coming to meet me. I stopped and talked to it for a minute, and it tried to follow me into the store. I thought no more about it, and assumed it belonged to someone in the store.

I spent over an hour shopping...and as I was checking out, I saw it standing at the exit door, and asked the cashier who it belonged to. She said it had been on the street most of the day, wandering around and thought it must be hungry by now.

As it happened, I had a cage in the car, so I gave the cashier my name and number and told her I was bringing it home. The manager overheard the conversation, and blessed me for doing this deed. She also went out and picked the kitty up and carried it to the car for me.

At that time, I was not really thinking of how much it looked like my Snowflake when he was a kitty, until I came home and noticed how much it acted like him. When my son called that afternoon, I told him the story, and remarked how much he reminded me of Snowflake. He immediately said, "Mom, God knew how much you loved Snowflake, so he sent you another one just like him.

Well, it's been six weeks now, and this kitty has tripled in size, being almost the exact image of Snowflake except for his "honey color" eyes, He most definitely has Snowflake's personality. When my son saw him this weekend, he agreed, and fell in love with him too. He is lying here now hugging my left arm while I'm trying to type.

He is so happy when the Poms come in to eat....and will wrestle with them. They love him too.

He can be a pest.....by this I mean, he wants to walk on the keyboard while I'm trying to type....and sometimes steps on the power key. Then, I get aggravated and have to scold him, but he is definitely a bright spot in my life, and I am so thankful I picked that particular day to shop. Of course, the credit goes to my Lord .......who directs me in ( almost) everything I do. Thank you Lord...for this blessing!
