Your wait I assure you was not in vain. For eons I've longed to come to the rescue of my own, But you needed to wait for the Fathers' appointed time. Announced by Gabriel to be born of the virgin one, Conceived of the Spirit of the timeless I AM; Here in a manger on this prophesied holy night, I stand before you: fully human and fully Gods' Son. My time among you, I am aware, will be full of strife; A thorn awaits the Rose of love in the worlds' garden, it's true. As God in human form I fear not the pain & loss of my life, For as John 3:16 will proclaim to you: My Father so loved you he sent me to die for you. Because it would be impossible for you to redeem yourselves from sin, For humanity...there would be no chance, not one. The only way would be a human, yet sinless, offering; And in His incomprehensible love He sent himself to be the one. I say to you: I know who'll accept me one day, To be the only true Savior...embrace the only true way. Becoming children of God eternally preserved for Him, Washed through my shed blood...free of the power of sin. Soon my redemptive mission here will be at an end...Tetelestai: Finished, said and done. The war between mankind and sin has waged for so long, As predestined before all time I will proclaim to all: +++ 'I have won' +++ I call out to you all who have not accepted my call, To invite the Spirit to dwell within you.
