The Ultimate Price

My Humble Prayer Contribution To The Iraqi War

We often ask 'Why?'; Why do people die ?
And in our doubt, we may wonder what God's plan is all about.

It seems questions are the order of the day, but in our human thoughts we don't really have a clue what to say.

While Isaiah 55 certainly gives us pastoral food for thought; especially when our loved ones paid the ultimate price, this scripture reference may seem to help us not.

The Lord has granted this author with the priviledge to avoid this all - presumably to pursue another call.

Though not involved I know Scripture states to us all, there are wars and rumors which await.
We're caught-up in a prophecy, one predestined and set in motion before the advent of time and space.

Those anxious for loved ones: the Theos expects and understands our fears.
And when death's touch reaches our door: He feels our tears.

Though for some faith may waiver, the throne of the One... our lost loved ones will savor.

One day the answers to our doubts we will finally know about;
And our tears will be wiped away once and for all.
For our losses we will understand the need,
And togetheri n the 3rd Heaven we will paraphrase the creed:
Greater love has no man that he lay down his life for another's need.

Good and faithful servant, justified by my Son.

Rest now, my children.....your job is done.
